Our Basic Approach to Activities for Society

Social Activity Philosophy

The NIKKON Group promotes sustainable economic development and productive employment, takes responsibility for its impact on society, and lives up to the expectations of its stakeholders to build a society that is peaceful and inclusive.

Policy on Social Activities

  1. Implement human capital management that embodies diversity and inclusion, including diverse ways of working, ample opportunities for female workers, and employment of the disabled and foreign residents, and thus pursue joy and pride in working.
  2. Rectify the labor-intensiveness of the logistics industry by aggressively promoting flexible-manpower production, labor saving, and streamlining, thus fulfilling its responsibility as an infrastructure for economic activities and the life of the people.
  3. Share value with the stakeholders through business logistics, making full use of its ample means of transportation, its abundant proprietary hardware resources, and its original logistics technology, all of which have been proven over the many years since its establishment.
  4. Ensure proper and timely disclosure of information on its corporate activities to the shareholders and investors, including information on risks and new business opportunities, and enhance its corporate value through successful engagement.

Contribution to local communities through soccer

As part of our local contribution activities, we held a soccer class for elementary school children at Yodoko Sakura Stadium in Osaka City. We also held another class overseas at Ayutthaya Stadium in Thailand. Children are the next generation of leaders and we provide them with opportunities to receive high-quality soccer lessons from professional coaches at stadiums used by professional soccer players and opportunities to experience the fun and joy of playing sports. Through this, we contribute to the physical and mental health of children.
